Workshop 2007 Enrollment Fee= $30.00 All classes will be held at Tri-County Pet and Bird Hospital on specified Saturdays 9:00 A.M. - 9:50 A.M. If testing is required, the Chlamydia/Beak and Feather combo test is $110.69. At the end of the four classes, pending participant interest, we can all meet for a parrot picnic at Westside Park in Gainesville. This is actually a big event with thousands of pet bird owners in Europe. Bring a finger food snack to pass around and your bicycle as we enjoy the company of each other and our birds outside at Westside Park in Gainesville. The park is located at the corner of 8th Ave and 34th st. Birds must have feathers trimmed to prevent flight for these sessions. Only one bird per participant. Each session will last between 45-60 minutes long. If testing is necessary, please fast your bird, No food for 8 hours prior to your visit before a blood test. But it is O.K. to allow access to drinking water. An optional and recommended DNA sexing test will be available at the same time.
